synopsis Amaury is a big bad vampire body guard who doesn’t like for anyone to see his weakness. His friends think his being able to sense the emotions of others is a gift, what they don’t know is that it causes him constant pain. The only way he can get relief from it is to have sex…which has caused everyone around him to think he is a nymphomaniac.

Nina learned that there were vampires all around her when she found her brother’s diary/notes after his death. She knew that what she had been told about his death couldn’t be right and decided to pick up where his notes left off and find revenge for her brother’s death. Little does she know that the big line backer of a vampire she is stalking and prepared to kill is really a big ole softie that intends to help her instead of harm her.

review

This book was awesome! I was super excited when I was able to purchase it and get to reading! Once I started I just couldn’t stop. Amaury hooked me fast and I felt so sorry for him right away. It was heart wrenching to get to know him and realize that the easy going playboy flirt that is portrayed in the first book is just a front so that no one will find out his weakness. I was super happy to watch (or well read) as he and Nina got to know one another and fell in love. Both of them had had such sad and difficult pasts that it was easy to get attached to them and keep yelling at my Kindle to let them be happy already! You know you are reading a good book when you get so into it that you are not only laughing and crying with the characters, but you are also yelling at them when they do something that postpones what you know will be an epic love!
