Product Review: Baby Comfy Nose

Baby Comfy Nose is a nasal aspirator made by a dad who got tired of the bulb and battery style aspirators not working well enough.

Here is a quoted description, that I got from BabyComfyNose.com of the product:

“The BabyComfyNose uses your own suction to remove your baby’s nasal mucus. Insert the nose tip into the baby’s nostril and form a seal (it is designed so that you can not insert it too deeply). Place mouth piece in your mouth and … create suction. Mucus is pulled into the receptacle body and is isolated there. Use a wadded tissue in the body of the aspirator as a super absorbent filter. For best results, use ‘cheek’ suction in short repeated breaths.”

If you are curious how this item compares to a normal Nasal Aspirator, be sure to check out their website that I linked to above!

Want to know more? Keep reading for a hilarious video How to where I (yes me, myself and I) try out the aspirator, as well as a large variety of pictures of it in use! Continue reading “Product Review: Baby Comfy Nose”

Just Like My Mommy: Book Review

Emalee absolutely loves to read! She always has, even before she was starting to learn what all those funky shapes and symbol things were on the pages.

She used to look at the pictures and tell the stories, now she tries to figure out a few words first and then make up what is happening!

Reading is such an important thing to do with children. I started reading with both of my girls while I was pregnant with them, and have continued to read to them daily at bed time, as well as throughout the day if I have the chance.

I think it is important to be a good role model and make sure that my kids see me reading all of the time. Even if it is on my Kindle more than not!

For Christmas this year, Ema asked for new books. How totally awesome is that?!? While looking around Amazon, I ran across this really neat book: Just Like My Mommy by Agnese Baruzzi & IKids. Continue reading “Just Like My Mommy: Book Review”

Roselyn Scentsy Warmer PREMIUM Giveaway

Winner will be chosen on my birthday!! Be sure to enter DAILY!

a Rafflecopter giveaway
Why should I use Scentsy you may be wondering? Well here is a review from someone who does!
Margaret Buckelew of  www.facebook.com/pinetreehillwildlife says:

I do sell it, and it may not be very fair for me to review it, but the truth is the only reason I sell it is no one here sold Scentsy when it first came out so I became a consultant for 2 reasons.
1. I loved Scentsy and 2. I figured my sales could go straight to my wildlife rehab.
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT HER ANIMAL REHAB AND DONATE IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY! THE WORK SHE DOES IS SIMPLY PRICELESS!
I was given Scentsy as a gift. It was love at first sight. My son had asthma and we could not burn candles. Scentsy was awesome. No flame. No chemicals released into the air and NO SOOT! Plus Scentsy is super safe. I have spilled the wax before and it cools in seconds. There’s virtually no fire hazard. Scentsy is as safe to have on 24/7 as a night light.
Because Scentsy uses top of the line oils the scent lasts for days. Traditional wicked candles only have the scented oil on top where the wick is and then coated down the sides. This is why candles tend to loose their smell after a few times lighting them.
For me, Scentsy is a win-win. It’s healthier, safer, lasts longer and helps to earn money for my wildlife rescue!

Baby Walker or Walk Her?

We have all been there! Your kid is big enough to pull up and TRY to walk, but they just haven’t quite mastered it!

What is a mom to do?!? You don’t want them to hurt themselves but you know they need to gain that leg strength in order to get going.

Walkers are great and all…

or not…they are kind of bulky and lord only knows what will happen if you have stairs

but you can’t carry them everywhere and even if you could, who would want to stay confined in that thing?
So, again I ask, what is a mom to do?
In pops a new product!

Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color

How many times have you gone to the store to get one or two things and end up spending half an hour standing in front of one section staring endlessly at the exact same thing? I mean really do we need to have twelve different types of the same product?!?
How do we decide which one to use? They all claim to be the best…but who knows right?
