The Date Night Special

We went on a date! An actual, no kids, take our time, DATE!

Wow, we haven’t done this in quite a while! It was awesome! I had so much fun chatting and joking around without having to worry about saying the wrong thing.

Top 10 Laughs

Wow! It’s Saturday already?!?! Wasn’t yesterday Wednesday? Okay, so clearly I lost a lot of time this week! It has sure seemed like a busy one…even though we didn’t do anything!

Linking up with Melissa over at The Mommyhood Chronicles for my first Saturday full of laughs! Come join in on all the fun!

This week was FULL of laughs for me! I was able to post in detail about a few of them, which just made me laugh even more! I am excited because Daniel and I are going out to eat tonight! This will be the first time in quite a while that we have left the house without the kids..I’m a little nervous! (I will try and write about it later!)

Difference in “knowing” and “KNOWING”

When you live in the middle of nowhere, better known as the boonies, like we do, you know that you are surrounded by all sorts of wild life. I know that there are deer, bunnies, squirrels, raccoon, foxes, coyotes…and ugh spiders and snakes!

Not My Cat!

So we all know that when it comes to having a new born in the house you shouldn’t expect a lot of sleep. I knew this ahead of time and yet still was amazed at how little sleep I was getting! My Journey to Parenthood

Okay, so I have thought long and hard about whether or not I wanted to do this post. It is a personal topic and a tough one for me to talk about sometimes. However…I have decided that I may feel better if I tell my story and let it out.

This is my story of how I became known as this new and wonderful person: Mommy. Continue reading “My Journey to Parenthood”

Walmart

Got to love taking a child (god forbid more than one) to Walmart on a weekend! There are some moms that are clearly on the right path because their children are behaving rather well…and then there are those that you can tell just whispered a veiled threat to their kids about what is to come when they get home (if they make it that far)…and then there are the ones we all want to scream at! Personal Bubble

Okay…let’s take a moment to be completely honest with ourselves.

We have all tried to figure out a way to get our kids to back off a bit and give us some space right?

No matter how much you love them, and I’ll just say it’s a whole heck of a lot, everyone needs some time alone. At least I am pretty sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.

Heck who knows…maybe I am having one of those “bad mom” moments that people talk about.

Anyways, as I was saying you may have even come up with a cute saying to let them know when they are too close and I would love for you guys to bombard my comments section below with your version! Continue reading “Personal Bubble”
